Day Moon (Tomorrow's Edge #1) by Brett Armstrong is an intriguing book in what is hopefully a long running and successful series. The book opens with a prologue about a funeral, that of Elliot's grandfather, an influential man who was mysteriously killed in a car accident/5. Day Moon was described to me by author, Brett Armstrong, as a near-future science fiction/dystopian novel with a young male protagonist. I was definitely interested, considering the book had a Christian foundation in the writing, but I was also interested in the near-future aspect/5. The subtitle of the book derives from the Tarahumara's belief that the soul works at night while the body sleeps and that during this "day of the moon" both the spirits of the dead and the souls of the living move about in their mysterious by: 7.

"The Day of the Moon" is relatively short, but Limón purposely pared down her novel to its essence. She creates believable characters with a few brushstrokes. As she passes the storytelling from character to character, the reader learns a little more. Don Flavio may be the most thoroughly unsympathetic and despicable fictional character I have 5/5(7). Goodnight Moon (Over the Moon #2), Margaret Wise Brown Goodnight Moon is an American children's book written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Clement Hurd. It was published on September 3, , and is a highly acclaimed bedtime story. It features a bunny saying "good night" to everything around: "Goodnight room. Goodnight moon/5. Moonday takes a "what if" kind of premise -- what if the moon was in your backyard? -- and plays it out into a lovely, poetic, funny, sweet, and weird scenario. Any kid has watched the moon follow the car, and after reading this book, they are going to wish for the invisible thread that pulls that moon down for a closer look/5(16).

Good Day, Good Night also features a sweet bunny who, in similar fashion to Goodnight Moon, bids goodnight to his favorite creatures and things such as the birds in their nests, sky, daylight, flowers, bees, bugs, kitty and bear as he gets cozy in bed. The noted exception is the book’s start of bidding a good morning and day offering a fresh.   Literature Quiz / Day, Night, Sun, or Moon in Book Titles Random Literature or Book Quiz Can you choose the correct words to complete these book titles? by JoeBeta Plays Quiz Updated Rate 5 stars Rate 4 stars Rate 3 stars Rate 2 stars Rate 1 star Popular Quizzes Today. Hello, friends!
